Candy cane hearts are perfect for Christmas—they're sweet, cute, and add a festive touch to the season! Made in no time at all they make the perfect addition to your table setting or given as a thoughtful gift to spread some holiday cheer!

Method:

  1. Arrange candy canes in pairs on baking paper lined trays, shaping them into hearts
  2. Melt the candy melts
  3. Add the desired amount of peppermint oil and mix thoroughly
  4. Fill each heart with the candy melts
  5. Sprinkle decorative toppings such as sprinkles and crushed candy cane over the chocolate-filled hearts
  6. Allow them to set for approximately 1 hour

To turn your candy cane hearts into lollipops:

  1. Prepare your oven to 180C and prepare a baking tray with baking paper
  2. Arrange candy canes in pairs on the lines trays, shaping them into hearts
  3. Insert a lollipop stock between each pair
  4. Place the trays in the oven and bake for 5 minutes to soften the candy canes
  5. The candy canes should now be soft enough for you to carefully pinch together where they join at the top and the bottom, around the stick. Be careful as the canes will be extremely hot, but work quickly or they will set and you won’t be able to pinch them together
