This product can be used as a replacement to crisco vegetable shortening and is a useful alternative icing to buttercream. As a white shortening it is gluten free, dairy free and vegan and can also bee used as a substitute for butter that gives you a true white base for buttercream. Best used with Clear vanilla extract.
Easy Buttercream recipe:
- In a large bowl, beat 1/2 Cup sno crème and 1/2 cup of softened butter with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, add 1 teaspoon of clear vanilla extract.
- Gradually add 3 cups of sifted icing sugar to the mixture 1 cup at a time on medium speed until all the sugar is mixed in.
- Gradually add 2 teaspoons of milk, cream or water at medium speed until light and fluffy.
Ingredients: Vegetable Fats and Oils CS MB, Emulsifiers (471, 435), Vitamin E (307B). May contain traces of Soy, Milk, Gluten, Eggs, Nuts, Sulphites, Sesame, Wheat.
